ooohhh!!!! i bet she'll be really worried that you're pissed off!
hi guys so you say fitting a vr6 in a caddy is too mutch weight ,as im on with a sort of similar idea ,but i used the later mk4 24v v6 lump then thow a 6speed 02m ,along with lowering the compression then turboing it ,,,just for a bit more fun ,as ill have front heavycaddy ,i had to think then evern if id lowerd the caddy ,which still would have been a waste of time so ,i modifyed a complete rear 4wd eletric rear axle in aswell,,to make it hold better along with lowering it,,then found i had a small prob with steering ,so i just thow a eletric power steering in it ,and works a treat ,,

theres a few ways of doing the vr6 caddy witch are use the mk1 subframe and weld mk3 vr6 mounts onto the chassi and add a front mount for the engine to sit in place
pic here

and a front mount

or use a mk3 vr6 subframe but ull have the addition of power steering and vr6 hubs etc for bigger brakes but u need to make 2 extra chassi mounts to mount in place like this
just thought it may help ,
