adys engine transplant

Post by messyman on Tue Jun 19, 2007 8:50 pm

here we go now doing adys engine transplant from 1.8 8v mk1 to a 1.8 16v using a mk2 golf as a doner
right engines out of the 16v golf + the wiring loom
just waiting on the mk1 golf and the cambelt kit to make a start

Is it not easier to fit the box on the engine then drop the lot in, in 1 go!!?

And that engine hoist looks like its made from mecano lol!, surprised it picked the 16v up Very Happy
