adys engine transplant

here we go now doing adys engine transplant from 1.8 8v mk1 to a 1.8 16v using a mk2 golf as a doner
right engines out of the 16v golf + the wiring loom
just waiting on the mk1 golf and the cambelt kit to make a start

who actually got the loom out then??????

Is it not easier to fit the box on the engine then drop the lot in, in 1 go!!?

And that engine hoist looks like its made from mecano lol!, surprised it picked the 16v up

it's actually made of 24 boxes of lego technics it took 2 weeks to build it..

well ive made a rare piece a 16v/8v front pipe for adys car

engines in and running

all done after a few teething probs e.g broken acc pedal and no brake lights

well done mate that sounds sweet

here it is with the new rimmage..

funny ya should say that mate. i was talking about that earlier today.

should have a set of cups on the way soon tho. so i dont think i'll keep
them that long.
